Tender Round 12 

Offshore Transmission Owner (OFTO) Tender Round Twelve (TR12) started in February 2025. TR12 will enable prospective bidders to compete to own the offshore transmission asset: 

  • Sofia Offshore Wind Farm 
    OFTO transmission assets anticipated to be worth in the region of £1.3bn 

On Tuesday 25 February 2025, we held an online launch event for OFTO TR12. Tender Round 11

Offshore Transmission Owner (OFTO) Tender Round Eleven (TR11) started in February 2024. TR11 will enable prospective bidders to compete to own the offshore transmission asset: 

  • Dogger Bank B Offshore Wind Farm 
    OFTO transmission assets anticipated to be worth in the region of £0.9bn

    Dogger Bank B Offshore Wind Farm
    Current status: Enhanced Pre Qualification (EPQ) commenced
    Installed capacity: 1,200MW
    Developed by: a joint venture owned by SSE Renewables (40%), Equinor (40%) and Vårgrønn (20%)
