Guaranteed Standards of Performance (GS) place service level requirements upon suppliers arising from certain interactions with their customers. In November 2018 we stated our intention to undertake further analysis in three key areas, relating to delayed switches, delays to final bills and responsibility for erroneous switches, before introducing new Guaranteed Standards in these areas.
This document forms a consultation on our policy approach, and a draft Statutory Instrument which we propose to make to implement this second tranche of Guaranteed Standards. Subject to consultation, we intend to implement these proposals in Spring 2020.
