NOTICE UNDER SECTION 6A(5) OF THE ELECTRICITY ACT 1989 OF THE GRANT OF A RESTRICTION TO AN ELECTRICITY SUPPLY LICENCE
The Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (“the Authority”) hereby gives notice pursuant to section 6A(5) of the Electricity Act 1989 (“the Act”) that on 17 April 2018 a restriction to an electricity supply licence was granted under section 6(4) of the Act to Shell Energy Supply UK Ltd. (company number 10025010) whose registered office is situated at Shell Centre London, York Road, London, SE1 7NA, United Kingdom authorising it to supply electricity to any non-domestic premises only in the specified area below:
Great Britain, the territorial sea adjacent to Great Britain and any Renewable Energy Zone, or at a place that is not a Renewable Energy Zone but is in an area designated under section 1(7) of the Continental Shelf Act 1964.
where:
Renewable Energy Zone has the meaning given by section 84(4) of the Energy Act 2004.
