This document contains Ofgem’s views on the Electricity System Operator’s draft Forward Plan consultation 2020-21.
As part of the new ESO regulatory and incentives framework, the ESO is required to engage with its stakeholders to produce a Forward Plan before the start of each regulatory year. The ESO has published a draft Forward plan for 2020-21.
We have reviewed this draft Forward Plan and have provided some overall comments for the ESO to consider.
