Ofgem is committed to reflecting the diversity of the consumers we serve, and providing a truly inclusive workplace culture.

This update highlights some of the progress we’ve made towards these goals since the launch of our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy in 2022.

In this update, you’ll find information on:

  • gender representation at senior leadership levels
  • a new three-year plan to help us better understand the balance of socio-economic backgrounds in our workforce
  • improvements in how we measure the impact of our people processes on under-represented groups
  • our work supporting the ‘Tackling Inclusion and Diversity in Energy’ (TIDE) Taskforce, an initiative aimed at improving inclusion and diversity across the energy sector
