NOTICE UNDER SECTION 6A(5) OF THE ELECTRICITY ACT 1989 OF THE GRANT OF AN ELECTRICITY GENERATION LICENCE
The Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (“the Authority”) hereby gives notice pursuant to section 6A(5) of the Electricity Act 1989 (“the Act”) that on 1 September 2023 an electricity generation licence was granted under section 6(1)(a) of the Act to Boom Bacup Storage Limited (company number 11734930) whose registered office is situated at Unit 5E Park Farm, Chichester Road, Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 0AG, United Kingdom, authorising it to generate electricity in the area specified in Schedule 1 for the purpose of giving a supply to any premises or enabling a supply to be so given.
