NOTICE UNDER SECTION 6A(5) OF THE ELECTRICITY ACT 1989 OF THE GRANT OF AN ELECTRICITY GENERATION LICENCE
The Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (“the Authority”) hereby gives notice pursuant to section 6A(5) of the Electricity Act 1989 (“the Act”) that on 27 February 2017 an electricity generation licence was granted under section 6(1)(a) of the Act to Battery Energy Storage Services 4 Limited (company number 10272711) whose registered office is situated at Beaufort Court, Egg Farm Lane, Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, WD4 8LR, United Kingdom, authorising it to generate electricity in the area specified in Schedule 1 for the purpose of giving a supply to any premises or enabling a supply to be so given.
