NOTICE UNDER SECTION 6A(5) OF THE ELECTRICITY ACT 1989 OF THE GRANT OF AN ELECTRICITY GENERATION LICENCE
The Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (“the Authority”) hereby gives notice pursuant to section 6A(5) of the Electricity Act 1989 (“the Act”) that on 18 July 2017 an electricity generation licence was granted under section 6(1)(a) of the Act to Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm Limited (company number SC278869) whose registered office is situated at The Tun Building, 4 Jackson Entry, 8 Holyrood Road, Edinburgh, EH8 8AE, United Kingdom, authorising it to generate electricity in the area specified in Schedule 1 for the purpose of giving a supply to any premises or enabling a supply to be so given.
