We introduced a new Distribution System Operation (DSO) incentive as part of the RIIO-ED2 price control for electricity distribution network operators.
As described in our RIIO-ED2 Final Determinations, the DSO incentive was to be made up of three evaluation criteria – a stakeholder survey, a performance panel assessment and three outturn performance metrics.
We consulted on our proposed approach for the outturn performance metrics during February and March 2024. Following a review of the consultation responses we have now made our decision on the outturn performance metrics.
