Ofgem decisions regarding the Channel TSOs’ proposals for the coordinated redispatching (RD) & countertrading (CT) methodology and the Channel TSOs’ proposal for RD & CT cost sharing methodology

On the 16 March 2018, we received two proposals from Transmission System Operators (TSOs) of the Channel capacity calculation region. The proposals submitted were the methodology for coordinated redispatching (RD) and countertrading (CT) and the methodology for RD & CT cost sharing. The proposals were submitted in accordance with Article 35 and 74 of the guideline on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM).
This letter sets out our decisions to request amendment to both proposals and outlines the necessary next steps.
