Statutory Consultation and conclusions on the Review of Gas Transports traditional metering licence conditions in the Special and Standard Special conditions of the Gas Transport Licence

In August 2024 we published a consultation looking at the future of National Gas Transmissions Plc’s (NGT) and the Gas Distribution Networks (GDN) licence conditions relating to the provision of traditional metering.

Following this consultation, we proposed a one year extension to the current obligations in place on NGT and the GDNs for traditional metering.

This document and attached notice set out our decision to extend these obligations to 31 December 2025.
