Direction Under Part F of Condition C15 of the Electricity System Operator License and Part F of Condition C10 of the Gas Planner System License in relation to the publication of the FEP Methodology

On 12 December 2024, National Energy System Operator (NESO) submitted a request to Ofgem under Part F of Condition C15 (Future Energy Pathways) of the Electricity System Operator License and Part F of Condition C10 (Future Energy Pathways) of the Gas System Planner License, for a derogation with respect to the submission of its Future Energy Pathways Methodology.
Following an assessment of the request, the Authority has decided to relieve NESO of its obligation to submit the proposed Future Energy Pathways Methodology by 31 December 2024, until 31 January 2025.
