On 10 September 2020, we received a letter from National Grid Gas ('NGG') requesting Ofgem to consent to NGG not providing a statement from an Independent Examiner to accompany modifications that it proposes to make to the Entry Capacity Release ('ECR') Methodology Statement in accordance with Special Condition 9A.7 of NGG's Gas Transporter Licence ("the Licence").

We have decided to grant the consent for the reason explained in this letter.
