SSE Hornsea Ltd (SSEHL) owns the Hornsea gas storage facility in East Yorkshire. SSEHL has applied for a minor facility exemption (MFE) from negotiated third-party access for the Hornsea gas storage facility. We have assessed whether an MFE should be granted using a range of tests.
This consultation sets out our initial view to grant the MFE and summarises the analysis that has led us to this view. We are consulting on this initial view and welcome feedback from any interested parties.
