We have previously published a consultation in July 2021 “Consultation on changes intended to bring about greater coordination in the development of offshore energy networks” and an update in January 2022 following responses to the July 2021 consultation.
Today we are publishing our consultation on our minded-to decision on changes to our policy on anticipatory investment and how we intend to implement those changes. In this publication we set out our minded-to decision together with an assessment we have carried out on the likely impact of the changes we are proposing. We also set out consequential changes required to implement our policy on anticipatory investment in the Early Opportunities workstream. We invite views on our minded-to decision and implementation proposals.
