We are consulting on the needs case and preferred option for the Gremista Grid Supply Point Medium Sized Investment Project (MSIP) Project proposed by Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission (SHET) under their MSIP reopener submission in January 2022.
The MSIP licence condition provides for companies to make reopener submissions during the RIIO-2 price control period for projects that meet certain conditions and cost less than £100m. SHET considers that this project meets criteria SpC 3.14.6 (b) of the licence condition.
We are seeking views on our assessment of the needs case and optioneering. Responses are requested by 24 May 2022.
