In August 2023 we published our decision on introducing an initial 12 month allowance into the price cap for bad debt associated with additional support credit given to prepayment meter customers. In this letter we are consulting on our proposed approach for how these costs could be accounted for beyond September 2024, when the current allowance comes to an end.
