This Call for Input seeks views and evidence from stakeholders on whether a review of the additional wholesale allowances is appropriate, and if so, what the scope of the review should be.
The additional wholesale allowances sit within the wholesale cost component reflecting the expected costs a notional supplier incurs when purchasing energy. These include, among other costs, shaping, imbalance and transaction costs.
We request that stakeholders send us their responses by 1 March 2023 to Retailpriceregulation@ofgem.gov.uk.
