Ofgem have issued both a mandatory and voluntary Request for Information for supplier's reporting of the Switching Compenstion Guaranteed Standards in Q2 2019. These requests, and accompanying reporting templates can be found in the documents below.
Mandatory Request for Information
Supplier Guaranteed Standards of Performance for Switching - Request for Information pursuant to Standard Licence Condition 5 of the Gas and Electricity supply licences.
On behalf of the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority, Ofgem is requesting information in connection with monitoring suppliers’ compliance with the regulations as set out in the Electricity and Gas (Standards of Performance) (Suppliers) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 (the ‘Regulations’).1 The specific information we are requesting from you is set in the accompanying reporting template, which has been sent via email (and is displayed in Annex 3 of the RFI letter below for display purposes).
Voluntary Request for Information
Request for Information: Supplier Guaranteed Standards of Performance for Switching Compensation
On behalf of the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority, Ofgem is writing to suppliers to seek information in connection with the Electricity and Gas (Standards of Performance) (Suppliers) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 (the ‘Regulations’).1 The specific information we are requesting from you is set out in Annex 1of the Voluntary RFI letter below and in the response template provided with this document.
The information is being requested on a voluntary basis pursuant to the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority’s general market monitoring functions under section 34 of the Gas Act 1986 and section 47 of the Electricity Act 1989. You should note that the information we receive may be used for any purposes relating to Ofgem’s functions.
We would ask you to endeavour to provide us with as detailed and accurate information as possible.
