Latest Ofgem Approved Meter Installers (OAMI) list

Any person or organisation that wishes to install a gas meter must be approved to do so. This approval and registration was formerly undertaken by Ofgem but is now managed as part of the Retail Energy Code (REC).
Ofgem Approved Meter Installers (OAMI) responsibility has been transferred from Ofgem to SPAA (Supply Point Administration Agreement), which is now governed under the REC. The full list of all approved meter installers can be found on the REC website.

Previously, the OAMI list catalogued the participants in the OAMI scheme. The list confirmed that a meter installer conformed to one or more of the Codes of Practice (CoP) in relation to meter installation. The OAMI list was last updated by Ofgem on 27 March 2017.
