As part of the Consumers in Decarbonisation project, we commissioned PWC to undertake qualitative research with energy consumers to better understand their experiences with and perceptions of smart time-of-use tariffs.

In April 2020, we conducted interviews with current smart time-of-use customers exploring their experiences, attitudes and satisfaction with the tariffs. In addition, we interviewed energy consumers on other types of tariffs to explore their perceptions of smart time of use tariffs. This report summarises the insights and findings from these interviews.
