We are committed to ensuring consumers have the information they need to fully engage with the market and make well-informed decisions. We’ve made a number of interventions over recent years to make sure consumers have the right information and prompts to engage.
We support market innovation, and are open to initiatives to make consumer information, including the bill, more engaging for the customer. We recognise the need to test new approaches to billing and other communications, and have set out expectations for trials in the open letter below.
We are also publishing the note of our workshop in November 2015 to seek views on how communications can be improved.
