Consultation on draft guidance: closure of the Renewables Obligation to onshore wind in England, Scotland and Wales

On 19 January 2016, DECC tabled amendments to the Energy Bill 2016 which reconfirmed their intent to close the Renewables Obligation to onshore wind from 1 April 2016. On 11 February 2016 we published this draft guidance explaining how we would administer this closure and the process for applying for the available grace periods.
We invited stakeholders to provide feedback on how they thought this draft guidance could be improved or made clearer. The consultation period for feedback closed on 24 March 2016.
This document has been updated based on the comments and queries received from stakeholders, and the final version has now been published. A consultation response listing the changes that have been made can be found below.
