As part of the RIIO-2 price control, network companies can apply for additional allowances via re-opener uncertainty mechanisms. Since January 2024, we received re-opener application submissions from twelve network companies.
We consulted on our Draft Determinations on RIIO-2 re-opener applications 2024 for Electricity Transmission, Electricity Distribution and Gas Distribution networks on 3 September 2024. The consultation closed on 1 October 2024.
Our decisions, having taken account of all consultation responses, are set out in these Final Determinations. Alongside these Final Determinations, we are also publishing statutory consultations on our proposals to modify the relevant Licensee’s licence to implement our decisions.
