Decision to use our power of direction in relation to mid-term revision of the NGESO Procurement Guidelines Statement 2021-2022

We received a report on a proposal from the ESO on 26 July 2021 to update of the Procurement Guidelines to include Net Transfer Capacity.
Our decision is not to use our power of direction under C16 9(b)(ii) to veto the ESO’s proposed revision of the Procurement Guidelines to reflect their updated procurement intentions. As the ESO only intends to procure Net Transfer Capacity from September 2021, we agree that this version of the Procurement Guidelines shall become effective from 30 August 2021.
