On 1 October 2024, ElecLink Limited (ElecLink) submitted the modified Access Rules for the ElecLink interconnector to the Authority for approval.
The Access rules set out the terms and conditions for access to, and including use of, the interconnector.
We have decided to approve the modified Access Rules on the basis that we are satisfied that the proposed modifications to Access Rules better achieve the relevant objectives as required under ElecLink's Electricity Interconnector Licence.
The relevant direction approving the modified Access Rules can be found in Annex 1 of this letter.
