On 8 January 2021, Drax Generation Enterprise Limited (DGEL) requested the disapplication of Special Condition AA.2 to AA.6 of its Electricity Generation Licence.
VPI Holding Limited purchased the entire issued share capital of the DGEL with effect from 1 February 2020. As VPI Holding Limited are not a Secure & Promote licensee it no longer meets the criteria for the condition to apply to DGEL's Licence.
This direction disapplies Special Conditions AA.2- AA.6 of DGEL's Licence.
