This tool can be used by Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Green Gas Support Scheme (GGSS) participants and Feed-in Tariffs (FIT) generators who are using anaerobic digestion (AD) to produce biogas for combustion or biomethane for injection and are seeking to apportion the consignments of biogas or biomethane derived from multiple feedstock consignments. It can also be used to identify the proportion of biogas or biomethane which is produced from feedstock which is waste or residue.
For detailed information on sustainability requirements for the Non-Domestic RHI scheme, please refer to Guidance Volumes 1 and 2, and if you will be self-reporting, also see the Sustainability Self-Reporting Guidance. In case of doubt, these documents take precedence.
For detailed information on sustainability requirements for the GGSS, please refer to the GGSS guidance.
For detailed information on sustainability and feedstock requirements for the FIT scheme, please see our Feed-in Tariffs: Guidance on sustainability criteria and feedstock restrictions.
